Creating Authentic, Global Projects through Literacy

In order to be prepared for our global community, students need to be exposed to global issues, develop cultural tolerance and awareness, and gain a general sense of connectivity across the globe. Using the literacy classroom to develop these skills provides students with a real-world approach to improving their reading and writing abilities while increasing their global competency and preparing them for an ever evolving, interconnected world.
