Engaging Ways For Students To Demonstrate Knowledge of History and Culture

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Are you looking for innovative ways to test student knowledge of history and various cultural perspectives? Are you interested in pairing technology with these assessments? Then, this workshop is for you! English, History, World Language teachers, etc. are often meant with the task of assessing students on past cultures and experiences; yet, with the variety of technological options, teachers might feel overwhelmed with how to incorporate these tools into student-created projects. Therefore, this workshop is designed to present several apps that provide engaging, creative, and thoughtful ways to test student knowledge in areas of history, culture, English, and more. Apps on both iPad and Android platform will be presented. While this workshop derives from the experience of a World Language teacher, the content is not limited to foreign language teachers. All disciplines are welcome!
